CTA website changes
Hi everyone
It is with sadness that I am stepping down as the webmaster for the CTA.
I have enjoyed the company here and the relationships I have built with lots of people. However maintaining the site and everything involved with it has taken an inordinate amount of time that I can no longer afford.
In the changeover the first thing you will notice is that this discussion forum will become the temporary home page.
Freak will be organising the new web site and I hope for a smooth changeover.
God bless
Neil

The Website is being redone by a guy in Texas and it should be done by the end of November, it will consist of 11 pages from what I am told it should be a very cool website.

Re: CTA website changes
This is Jayme Whitaker. For those of you who do not know me, I am in the process of taking over as the new CTA President.
A little info on the new website....
It is in the process as we speak of being completely redone with a new format and look. It will still consist of all of the former amenities. Such as:
*Homepage (information, updates and news)
*Photo Section (including all photos from the previous site)
*Purpose Page (What the CTA is about and does.)
*Statement Page (Biblical referances)
*Sign-up Page
*Message Board (all existing posts will be added)
We will also be adding all users, their passwords, etc, etc. So all it will be is a new site and a new look. There will also be some added features about conventions in the homepage. The one big new feature will be a Staff Journal where those who are attending conventions and events for the CTA can post thoughts and ideas.
We will have some additional logo images, as well as myspace banners, etc, etc.
There is a lot to accomplish with getting the new site up and running but we plan on having it up and fully functional by January 1st at the latest.
So there will be a lot of changes all of them good changes. We believe Freak and Co. have done a wonderful job and we want to continue that. We truly look forward to taking the CTA to new places on the web and in the Tattoo community. By the grace of God we will.
I truly thank all of you for being so faithful to our wonderful God, to one another and to the art of tattooing!!!!
God bless!!

Re: CTA website changes
By the way....I forgot to mention there is also going to be a section specifically for Tattoo Artists to commune with one another in the message boards. Tattoo Artists will also be able to answer questions from this page that come directly from members of the collector web group.
This should serve two purposes.
1) It will allow more tattoo artists a chance to converse with one another on an art level.
2) This will also allow people getting tattooing or having struggle quicker answers to their questions...as the artists wont have to run accross their questions. They will apprear automatically in the Tattoo Artist section as well as on the main section of the forum.
Ok...thanks!!
God bless!!

Re: CTA website changes
Cool, it'll be fun to check out the new incarnation of the website, I'm sure the other members would join me in welcoming you to the CTA leadership. It's a role that's probably more time and energy consuming than many may suspect. Pastor Freak's family and church will no doubt benefit from more of his undivided time.
I've been able to visit this forum less frequently lately, but I plan to remain resident cranky old opinionated geezer and all around sarcastic jerk. No discussion should be without one.
