Messy Spirituality
Messy Spirituality by Mike Yacconelli is a great book... short read, but very helpful for those of us who constantly struggle with the idea of being a "good christian." Mike was a very spiritual and non-religous guy who was in love with Jesus and in awe of Him at the same time... a combination rarely found these days.
Great book... challenging... worth the read.

Re: Messy Spirituality
I know this post is old, but I read this book (like last year or so) and thought it was a great read!
I remember something like this said in the book ... God has this annoying, unconditional love for his imperfect children

"Sure the body is a temple; I've just redecorated"

Re: Messy Spirituality
Another book that he wrote called Dangerous Wonder is equally amazing. It calls us to regain our wonder for what it truly means to be called a child of God. His outlook on life and spirituality have made a huge impact in my life
